Our aim, objectives and ethos
We empower people to lead happier, healthier lives through participating in music.
We offer a musical programme which challenges age-related stereotypes and does not make assumptions about the types of music and activities that participants will enjoy and be able to access.
Our objectives
- To advance the wellbeing of vulnerable and socially isolated older people
- To relieve isolation and social exclusion amongst vulnerable people
- To provide opportunities for vulnerable and socially isolated people to learn, achieve and contribute to the work of the charity
- To share learning and skills
Our ethos
We're a small team, but every one of us is driven by the desire to do everything we can to achieve our objectives, and to provide music and friendship to our members. Over time, we have seen how this ethos and approach has created a sense of family amongst us.
